slc

first of all, andy patterson is an awesome person. we love the way the record turned out. he put us up in his house and fed us all kinds of amazing food. his wife cindi was also extremely cool. it turns out greg from the band trial was staying at andy's that week too, so thanks for sharing your room with all us guys. greg is also a ridiculously sincere and helpful person. without knowing us hardly at all, he helped us every which way he could. tino from gaza helped us out with some vocals, so thank you. also thanks to oz from bird eater for letting jon use your bass gear. you all were so awesome and we all really appreciate it.

so now we need to get the thing mastered and printed, so it will probably be another month until we have  it in hand. as far as titles go it's still up in the air. i'll post the lyrics on here once i organize all of them. we tried to record all we could live. we got it done in about two days or so. vocals were done separate from drums bass and guitar, and an extra guitar track was thrown on separately. aside from that, what you hear was recorded all at once, within one or two takes. here's a preview of how it all went down:

being from cheyenne, we took advantage of utah's vegetarian food. all of the places we ate were great, such as: vertical diner, sage's, evergreen house cafe, and long life vegi house. also, kelly from good clean fun owns a vegan bakery called cakewalk and she hooked us up with some cupcakes that rocked. thanks again.

we had to stay in some fancy hotel because we almost died a couple times due to the snow. upside was there was a pool. here's a few pictures of the whole dealio. sorry if they're too dark. its not because we're mysterious, its only because i suck at printing. enjoy.
